What People Are Saying

Whats their best coffee?

It’s a true shame having to write this review. I have loved and supported this establishment for years, brought many clients & friends here for meetings. I’m a vegetarian and ordered the vegetarian breakfast sandwich. After taking a bite, I noticed it had pesto in it, so I went back to the waitress check if it had Parmesan in it (most people don’t realize that’s not vegetarian since it’s made with animal rennet) and I politely just asked her if I could swap it out. She spoke to me in a very condescending tone, giving me a look that made me very uncomfortable and undermining my statement as it I don’t know what I’m talking about. I clarified to explain, and continue to explain to her how Parmesan isn’t vegetarian. She kept her attitude up and I felt super humiliated, as though I’m that customer looking for a freebie or to kick up a fuss for no reason. I bit my tongue and asked her for the feta pastry instead she’s like- oh are you sure because that has feta in it - patiently, I continued to explain that I’m not vegan, simply vegetarian. She’s didn’t stop there a decided to continue arguing with me in front of everyone, further making me feel very uncomfortable, saying well that’s animal product is it not … I didn’t even care about the money or wanted a refund and just walked off, just returning the sandwich. I’m not going to be humiliated and spoken to in a condescending tone by anyone. Perhaps you can invest in educating your staff or training them on professionalism. Truly disappointing.

We were driving on lakeshore and just bumped into this place. Very cute little place with an awesome ambiance. Lots of snacks and baked food available Parking can be found if you drive around

First ordered banana bread latte, which i was very excited to try. (Although pricy at $10) It didn’t taste like banana at all and it was way too sweet. It just tasted like a normal latte! They were kind enough to make me something else so I tried a pumpkin pie matcha — there was absolutely no matcha flavour 😢 It just tasted like pumpkin pie milk and although it was delicious, it wasn’t what I was expecting. Still five stars for awesome service and board games!

It’s a conveniently located cafe in the downtown Oakville shopping area. I had a Golden Latte which was surprisingly good. It’s coffee with turmeric, ginger, and other spices. I enjoyed it thoroughly! However, I wish it had been served in a ceramic cup as we told the order taker that we would be having it in the café. They have a decent amount of seating. Sometimes, when they are very busy it can become difficult to find a place to sit.
