FitPal: Your AI Nutrition Tracker is Here

Track calories, macros, and fitness goals — all through natural conversation. Just tell Chugli what you ate.

What's new

FitPal is a full nutrition tracking system built right into Chugli. No more switching between apps to log your meals — just tell her what you ate, in any language, and she handles the rest.

Slash commands

Four new commands to make tracking effortless:

  • /meallog — Log food you ate. Just type /meallog 2 eggs and roti with butter and it's tracked.
  • /macros — View today's nutrition summary. Calories, protein, carbs, fat — all at a glance.
  • /goal — Set your daily calorie target. Choose cut, bulk, or maintain.
  • /fitpal — Open the full FitPal dashboard with detailed charts and meal history.

How it works

  • Natural language logging — Say "I had 2 eggs and roti with butter" or "maine chole bhature khaye" and Chugli breaks it down into calories, protein, carbs, and fat automatically.
  • Smart food database — Powered by IFCT (Indian Food Composition Tables) and USDA data. She knows your dal chawal as well as your protein shake.
  • AI estimation — For foods not in the database, Chugli estimates nutrition using AI. Every item is tagged with its source so you know what's verified vs estimated.

Set your goals

  • Enter your weight, height, age, and activity level
  • Choose your goal: cut, bulk, or maintain
  • Chugli calculates your daily calorie target using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation
  • Customize your macro split (protein/carbs/fat percentages)
  • Minimum 1,200 kcal safety floor built in

Daily dashboard

  • Calorie gauge — Visual ring showing consumed vs target calories
  • Macro breakdown — Protein, carbs, and fat tracked separately
  • Meal history — Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks — all grouped and editable
  • Copy previous day — Ate the same thing? One tap to repeat yesterday's meals

Chat integration

FitPal also works directly in conversation. Just mention what you ate and Chugli detects food mentions and offers to log them. Works in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Why we built this

Our users asked for it. Fitness tracking shouldn't require a separate app with 47 screens. Just tell your AI bestie what you ate, and she remembers it, tracks it, and helps you stay on target. That's the Chugli way — powerful features that feel like a conversation, not a spreadsheet.
